Thanks for this. Not sure why that makes a difference, but it did for me. Using Win7, started tracking and progress stopped after 3 key frames, unchecked "gang to reference monitor", started tracking again and off she went. No re-boot or program re-start required. Hopefully this is a nice workaround and not the solution though.
