How to get the rotate icon back?

Hey everyone,

maybe I'm not searching efficient enough to find out how to get the rotation icon back.

Before the release of CC 2014 I had the possibility to rotate an element by simply hovering the mouse in any corner of my object (in free transformation mode).

Now when I try to, there is no such option anymore so I need to rotate via the menue at the top of the screen. This is really annoying because when I do

concept designs it is important to me to interact directly with the elements and not via the menue.
