Ai CS6 EPS file saving problem

I'm trying to save an Illustrator file as EPS using Ai Illustrator 6.  When I click on the saved file to see it, the artwork is flushed completely left.  It's not positioned on the left of the artboard when it's in Ai.  How do I fix this?
