Color Aberration in HDR - Don't know actual name for this

Tonight there was a really beautiful sunset where I live and I took a bunch of different shots at different exposures, including 3 bracketed HDR images. When I pulled them up on the computer, I decided to give them a go since I need practice with HDR, so I composited the images in HDR Efex Pro.  However, I noticed that in certain areas among the tree branches there are blue streaks or blue tints. I temporarily ignored these and chose a filter I liked and then dialed it in some more. I'm now going to play with the color and tonality a bit more in Viveza, but before I do, I'd like to deal with these color streaks.  My questions are as follows:

1. What caused this? Was it the stacking of the bracketed images and the blue from one leaking through into another? I don't see the streaks in the individual images.

2. What is the name for this anomaly? From what Ive read, this doesn't seem to fit the definition of chromatic aberration, but maybe I'm wrong.

3. What are the different techniques/best way to fix this in photoshop and at what point in my workflow is it most appropriate to deal with them?

Thanks!
