can a clip object be associated with multiple objects of pde layer and vice versa

Hi,

I am beginner in acrobat plug-in programming for pdf.

I was writing a plug-in to resize the pdf. So what I thought is I have to re-size all objects of pde layer and all clips associated with each objects.

So my point is if I re-size a clip associated with multiple objects, then for each object I will resize the same object.

And clip will get re-sized multple times giving in-appropriate re-size of clippping.

So can anyone correct me whether a clip object can be associated with multiple objects. Or for each object there is a different clip.
