I'm also experiencing this problem, it is extremely frustrating.
Works fine when I create a new user profile on my machine, but the original user cannot save for web. Tried deleting all sorts of preference and plugin files, to no avail. Have also reset preference files (starting up PS while holding CTRL + ALT + SHIFT) and uninstalled/reinstalled Photoshop CC2014 (and all old versions that were on there) from the machine.
@bigj6360 I'm glad you solved your issue but your solution post looks like you got all the way to the part where you solved the problem and then just stopped typing, haha.
Has anyone else satisfactorily solved this issue without having to ditch the original user account?
