Please try updating Reader to v 11.0.08 and check as most of such reported issues have been fixed with the latest updates.
Please try navigating to : https://new.acrobat.com/en_us.html and sign in with the Adobe ID and check if it accepts the credentials.
If Yes, Then
In Reader go to Edit > Preferences (Win) or Adobe Reader > Preferences (Mac)
Click 'Online Services' or 'Adobe Online Services' on the left-hand side
Sign out of your Adobe ID and sign back in and check.
