Lightroom 5.6 on my Win 7 PC will not start when I click on the icon, or start it from the .exe file. No error message is produced. Nothing happens. The other CC programs, Bridge and PS CC run fine. It is listed on my Apps as installed and up to date. I believe the problem came when I updated to 5.6 from 5.5.
When I first discovered this I used the help. I first uninstalled Lr5 in the normal way. I then re-installed it via the CC screen. After install, it still does not run. There is a Help document that addresses this. I believe I have properly done the first three solutions. It appears that Solution 4 requires you to uninstall all CC applications. I am reluctant to do this.
Has anyone else had similar problems? If so, what did you to correct them? It appears I am running the latest version of CC software.
