mythiix thanks for the update. Yes, I agree that routers/firewalls blocking specific ports and/or IP addresses would likely result in the same hang. In practice Muse is not completely hung, but the timeout is ridiculously long so it might as well be. Clearly we need a shorter timeout and better error reporting for this case. We'll likely also default to standard FTP Passive mode, and/or do more automated probing of what mode(s) will work, in a future release.
Tijdschrift RSYB when the file fails to open, do you get an error message? If so,please include a screenshot of the error. If Muse just hangs, when you Force Quit please copy and paste the complete Apple Crash Report here so we can get some idea of what Muse is attempting to do when the hang occurs. Thanks.
